Description

Ah, Navy planes are fun. Let's do some more.

Here's an A-6E Intruder. The A-6 was designed to be an all-weather attack bomber; per its design, it could fly in weather that would ground most other aircraft, land or carrier based. It served for a long time, about 1962 to 1996, and was the primary US Navy medium bomber during Vietnam, the "brushfire" wars of the 1980s, and the First Gulf War. Carrying no defensive armament, it had to rely on its manueverability and ability to fly in all conditions to defend it (along with healthy fighter escort). It was replaced in USN service by the F/A-18 Hornet, though the electronic warfare version (the EA-6B Prowler) still serves.
This is a later model A-6E, with laser designator "turret" under the nose.

Since "fighter pilots make movies, attack pilots make history," I had to include some bomb trucks in my fictional naval air arm. "Moon Dragon" seemed to be appropriate for an A-6, hence the tail art.

It's actually an A-6E TRAM (Target Recognition Attack Multisensor) Intruder.
