Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV (Ed)

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV--better known as Ed, Radical Edward, or her birth name, Francoise Appledelhi--is a master hacker whose very appearance shows you can't judge a book by its cover.  Known only as Radical Edward on the internet, Ed is capable of taking control of military laser satellites...and then using them to carve cartoons into desert floors, for no other reason than fun.  Through a series of misadventures, she ends up with the crew of the Bebop.

Ed was one of the more mysterious characters in Cowboy Bebop, as the audience could be forgiven for thinking she's a boy rather than a teenage girl.  Her hacking skills are well in evidence, but her weird ways are either charming or annoying (of course, the characters of the anime feel the same way about her).  She was meant as comic relief to a certain extent, and when she leaves the Bebop later in the series, it gets noticeably darker.  

Since Ed is my second favorite character in the series (behind Faye Valentine), I have a lot of Ed pictures in my Cosplay folder.  The cosplay isn't technically complicated, but getting into character would be, given Ed's strange ways!  This cosplayer at GFGR 2015 got it down just fine, though, even including Ed's goggles and the "blush spots" on her cheeks, which the character had in the anime as a "cute effect.".  (Normally Ed goes barefoot, but safety rules at cons prevent that to avoid foot injuries.)
